GIFF Weekends only come once a year or less so lets make the most of it. From finding new favorite places, people, and puzzles, geocaching is full of moments that were captured on film and shared with the geocaching world. This year filmmakers were asked to film a great story about the game we love.
Join us for a fun time to view the GIFF 2025 Film Reel, trade Caching stories and Trackables, and vote for your favorite films. Of course, we’ll add in a few door prizes too
The Central Oregon GIFF is Saturday, November 8th at 1:00 PM
Doors open at 12:45 AM. Movie starts at 1:00 PM and will last about an hour
The downtown library is close to several great restaurants, so dine before you come!

What we know so far
After much deliberation, here are this year’s 20 GIFF finalists. These films stand out for their creativity, production quality, content, and contribution to the global geocaching community.
Will there be a souvenir this year?
Yes! Earn the GIFF 2025 souvenir by posting an Attended log for any Event that is on the List of approved GIFF 2025 Events. Please note that there is no trackable souvenir option this year; the souvenir will only be available by attending an in-person GIFF Event.
What is the official 2025 GIFF theme and colors?
This year is all about celebration. Not only are we celebrating 25 years of geocaching, but we are also celebrating the amazing community that has built this game for a quarter century. That's why this years GIFF theme is “TFTC—Thanks For The Community!” and the color is silver, the traditional gift for a 25th anniversary.
