Quite a few of the logs here on this cache have been when finding a Letterbox cache that was placed nearby in November, 2006!! The Mermaid letterbox is altogether different, and was only placed nearby coincidentally, almost 7 years after this one was placed.
We went and replaced/updated the container on Jan 17, 2009. New Log Book! New goodies to play with or trade! Added info regarding the Mermaid Letterbox cache nearby and it should be clear which is which when either is found now. (Letterbox info can be found here: View Letterbox page ).
