Geocache Description:

The posted coordinates take you to the front of the Flagstaff Memorial Chapel. This is a recreation of the church that was in the Village of Flagstaff, the town that was flooded in 1950 in the name of progress. Much of my family was born, lived, and died in that town, and many are buried in the adjacent cemetery.

To solve and get the coordinates for the final, you must do some simple math. There are two plaques embedded in stones in front of you. To solve for the North coords, answer this question from the left plaque. "This tablet is placed by." If it is Parsons, then add 20 to the posted coordinates; if it is Dobier, then subtract 10 from the posted coordinates. Next, to solve for the West, look to the right plaque. What family had 2 juniors in it? If it is the Targetts, add 100 to the posted coords, and if it was the Wings, subtract 150. You are looking for a silver bison that should always be available in winter. This cache should NOT be looked for at night.
