Andy’s Pizza – Bethesda – 4600 East West Highway, Bethesda, MD 20814 – 6:30pm to 8:30pm
A continuation of First Wednesday events in Montgomery County. The owners and locations of future events may be changed to get folks to come to all parts of the County.
Join Washington-area geocachers (DC, Virginia, Maryland, and even Deleware, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia!) every First Wednesday (ish) of each month. We'll talk about caching, plan upcoming events or trips, trade bugs & coins, and share stories from the field.
All are welcome to this family-friendly event. It doesn't matter if you have found 0, 50, 500, or 5000 geocaches. We love to see people who are new to geocaching or looking to further explore their new-found hobby. We also enjoy meeting out-of-town cachers who happen to be in the area – this is definitely not for locals only. And if you never have been to an event, this will be a welcoming place to start!
November's event will be return to Andy’s Pizza in Bethesda – great food and beverages, and well located! No purchase is necessary. If it is a beautiful evening or even just a bit cool, we will aim for the outside tables. If not, we will be inside and probably upstairs.
Access is very simple by Metro, steps away from the Bethesda station. When you get off the train, go through the main turnstiles and up the long escalators. At the top of the escalators turn right into a short tunnel under Wisconsin Avenue, and then you can exit onto East West Highway and turn right – just one or two storefronts away from Andy’s. Paid parking garages are also nearby – look at the waypoint. You might find free street parking if you are willing to walk a bit.
Hope to see you!
