Welcome to the "The 12 Days of Cachemas," a cache series running from December 25 through January 5 modeled after a familiar Christmas song. Starting on December 25th, one new cache in this series will be released each day, until the song is complete. Each cache in this series will contain a clue. Collect all the clues in order to figure out the location of the bonus cache, which will publish on January 6.
The 8th day of Christmas also happens to be the 1st day of the New Year. Many of us make resolutions like: eat healthier, exercise more, get better sleep, lose weight or build more muscle. We thought that this year, it might be fun to make… well, FUN resolutions. Here are some geocaching resolutions that you might want to work towards in 2026!
- Hide a geocache
- Find a geocache placed in the year 2000
- Find a geocache on Blue Switch Day (May 2nd)
- Complete a GeoTour
- Attend a Mega or Giga event
- Be First To Find (FTF) on a geocache
- Complete a geocaching challenge
- Geocache in a new state
Each of these resolutions is represented by an object at GZ. You will need to find all 8 objects and take note of the word on each one. Once you have all eight words, take the first (and only the first) letter from each word and put them in alphabetical order. Enter those 8 letters in the checker. When correct, the coordinates for the final stage will be revealed. When you find the final, be sure to get the keyword for the Cachemas final!
