Seit über 70 Jahren dient das «Grosse Haus» als Unterengadiner Regionalmuseum. Das typische Engadiner Haus gibt Einblick in das ursprüngliche Leben und die Baukultur des Unterengadins. Von der ältesten Engadiner Stube über die kreuzgewölbte Eingangshalle bis hin zu Kellerräumen und Scheune, welche für die Landwirtschaft genutzt wurde. Dies und vieles mehr erwartet dich bei einem Besuch.

You are now standing in front of the stately museum building known as “Chà gronda” or the “Big House” in English.
For over 70 years, the “Big House” has housed the Lower Engadine Regional Museum. It is a typical Engadine house and opens a door to the traditional way of life and architectural heritage of the Lower Engadine. From the oldest Engadine-style parlor to the cross-vaulted entrance hall, and on to the cellar rooms and barn, where the animals once lived. All this and much more to see during your visit.
