Puzzle Solving Event CARW2026🎶
CARW2026 PUZZLE SOLVING EVENT DETAILS:
One of the most anticipated events of the CARW season is the Puzzle Solving Event. This year, I was aked by the Quad Squad to host it. I have booked the library at the Alberta Genealogical Society, with seating available for up to 40-50 people. If required, we may have to limit attendance so please RSVP with your group size to secure your spot.
For those new to CARW, all CARW2026 caches will be published on Thursday night. From there, we will compile the new puzzles in a bookmark list. At this Puzzle Solving Event, the Quad Squad will orchestrate the process of working in harmony to solve these puzzles, hopefully guided by some Cache Owner assistance. There will also be a strategy presentation on common puzzle-solving techniques—so everyone can stay in rhythm, avoid missing a beat and bring our puzzle solving to a grand finale.
Important note:Â As was done last year, there will not be a shared list of solutions. However, the hosts will work with participants on solving puzzles during the event to come up with solutions collaboratively.
Schedule:
6:00 pm: Set up and group working time
6:10 pm: Welcome to the Alberta Genealogical Society Library
6:15 pm: Presentation by the Quad Squad on strategies to solve this year's CARW2026 caches
8:15 pm: Formal presentation concludes; we rearrange tables and chairs back to their original formation
8:30 pm: Close up shop
