Litter not only blights the environment & makes areas look untidy, it also affects natural habitats & wildlife.
Join us as we clean up the Coast to Coast track and surrounding area.
This event is also part of Durham County Councils Big Spring Clean campaign.
Consett CITO - Saturday 11th April 10am until 12.00pm
Litter pickers and binbags will all be provided courtesy of Walk Wheel Cycle Trust (formerly Sustrans) and Durham County Council.
Please bring along a pair of gardening gloves if you have them. It may also be useful to bring along a drink and a snack for yourself.
Please come along dressed for the weather with warm / waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear.
There are a number of parking spaces available at Lydgetts Junction car park, Consett, DH8 8BE. Please park sensibly and considerately of other users.
This event will make a huge difference to the local area and really make the place nicer for people to cycle, walk and geocache in!
