Welcome to The Library Cache Workshop!

At this event, you will learn to create and build a library cache froom start to finish! Making quality library caches is something that I really love doing, and with Maker Magic going on, I get an incentive to make an event to teach you how to do the same! Join us for an all inclusive, fun and informative event at the Lewisboro Library!
I will be providing all tools and materials required to make and complete a library cache. (Its not that many!) The tools list is as follows below:
- Hardcover books that you're willing to part with
- Mod Podge
- Dremel
Optional:
- Stamp to make it a letterbox
- Other things I'll discuss at the event
If you'd like to make your own library cache to bring home, you're more than welcome to bring your own hardcover book!
Minimum thicknesses are as follows:
Log book only - 1 1/4" thick
Stamp or medium trackables: 2"+ thick
Schedule:
1:00 - 1:15 Prep and introduction.
1:15 - 2:30 Instruction on how to design and produce multiple library caches. (Also hands on experience)
2:30 - 3:00 Cleanup and chatting about ideas of how to hide the library caches that we just made.
While you can't take home the caches that we make, you're more than welcome to make and place your own! (And you get a leg up on the next few library caches that come out)
