Broughton in Furness War Memorial
First World War (1914-1918) memorial with a wo stepped base surmounted by low plinth, tapered shaft and celtic cross. Inscription on the front face of the shaft and plinth. Additional tablet for Second World War (1939-1945) placed against the front face of the plinth at an angle. Made of stainton limestone. Wreath carved in the centre of the cross with oak leaves carved above and below and rose and laurel leaves carved to the left and right.
