Magic Makers BlitzMar2010 Style
As you will be aware we lost a prolific cache setter recently. BlitzMar2010 loved laying caches, she'd be almost giddy when she found village or town untouched by the caching world! She'd seek out those Churches, War Memorials, Village Halls, Ancient Wells, Little Bridges and of course Libraries.
More often than not late in the evening I'd get a whole load of photos sent to me of plaques, benches and posts. That meant one thing Mar had Blitzed another area and I was down to check her numbers were right for the multi's!
I'm now asking you to be involved...
Mar had so many plans, so many caches already made up and ready to go and others where she'd collected things that could be made into future caches. It seems very poignant that Groundspeak have brought back Magic Makers when they have, just a few days after BlitzMar2010's birthday, where I'm sure she would have asked for more cache containers!
So bring your enthusiasm, creative thinking and get Blitzing!

There is limited parking outside the hall, please do only use the spaces if you have mobility issues. There is a wheelchair friendly access to the left of the hall at you look at it from the road.

What and How:
- As a prolific CITO setter I will be providing a Q&A session on what a CITO is, how to work with the local authorities and what works best.
- BlitzMar2010 had a vision for many of her caches that she would have like to have set, and so a table will be set up with all the different caches you may find whilst out on your caching adventures and also show case her creativity and hopefully give you some inspiration for your own creations.
- This of course leads on to us having a table where you can bring your creations to life. Bored of just finding a micros? Want to have something a bit more unusual? Want something that blends in with the surroundings? Well here is where you can create the cache of your dreams. All of the materials will be provided, so get stuck in create and get ready to hide those caches!
- Not hidden a cache before? Well we will happily provide you with guidance and some sage caching advice, such as double pot the logbook to save you from a soggy log! Don't use hints such as head height, whose head? Left or Right which way are you coming from?
- Should you be tempted to hide your own cache, and we really hope that you will be, we will also have laptop set up showing you how to create the cache page, photos and all!
After a busy afternoon of information gathering and cache creations then feel free to take seat, take it all in ... and maybe see how good your cache senses are and see if you can find some of those hidden caches around hall! Magnetic anyone?
There will be tea and coffee to make sure the caching conversation flows. A baker I'm not, so if you want cake please do bring some.
