Join us in the orchard to watch trains and build some protective tree guards around our orchard trees. The easter bunny and his friend have been damaging some of the trees - so a more permenant protection system is needed! If time allows we will be caring for other trees in the vicinity and mulching. There is a picnic bench close by - so feel free to come out and enjoy the sunshine and spot some trains too.
Parking: Parking is available at the main entrance to Horsbere Reserve (see waypoint Parking area / Meet-up point).
Where: Meet up 09:30 by the main gates to Horsbere Reserve where we will collect tools and make our way to The Orchard.
What: We be building tree guards, mulching and generally showing trees in the area some extra love.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance and tools. Please bring work gloves if possible.
Please also think about bringing a drink/snack for breaktime. 🙂
