This is a picnic social meet on top of the Cherhill White Horse hill.
This event is timed to follow on from the earlier "Chalking the horse" CITO (see separate event 10-11.30 GCBM2ME) to enable you to relax, chat and enjoy the views afterwards. However, you don't have to attend the earlier CITO in order to attend this social, just come along and join us.
There is a 20 minute up hill walk from the parking to the white horse / event co ordinates. Please wear suitable footwear as being a chalk down the path can be slippery if wet.
Bring your own picnic blankets, food and refreshments as there are no facilities such as food and drink outlets at the location. Please also be aware there are no toilet facilities.
If the weather conditions are bad then this event may be cancelled. I will endeavour to make any announcements on this page as soon as I get information. To receive announcements via this page please log a "will attend".
