CITO 2026 : Season 1
Attend a CITO between 1st March - 31st May to gain the souvenir
The ranger and myself will be on site for the 3 hour duration of this CITO event
but please feel free to turn up whenever is convenient and just stay as long as you wish
All help is welcome
🌳🌿 PULLING UP GOAT'S RUE IN GREEN LANE RESERVE 🌿🌳
Parking: There is some on-street parking on Appleton Way (or other side streets nearby).
Where: We will meet up at 09:30 at the start of the path (see waypoint); or if arriving later, come and find us working near the CITO coords in Green Lane Reserve.
What: Today we will be pulling up Goat's Rue, an invasive plant that we remove from the Reserve on an annual basis to prevent it taking over the grass and wild flower meadow.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance and tools. Please bring work gloves if possible.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by Council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
We will have a tea break mid-session so you may like to bring a drink/snack. Homemade cake will be provided 🙂
