16th April - Improving Flood Flow at Alney Island
The session is set for 3 hours, but only me and the ranger have to stay till the end!
Please do feel free to pop along and only stay for as long as you want.
Parking: Is at the headline coordinates in the Alney Island Reserve car park. Please note you can only access it leaving Gloucester, on the westbound side of Westgate Bridge.
Where: Meet in the car park for 0930. If arriving after the time I will add a waypoint to the cache listing and also put out an annoucement to confirm where we are.
What: We will be removing the old fence as it's no longer needed.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance and tools but we ask you to bring your own gloves.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
Please bring a drink as it can be thirsty work!
