I will be at Sparrow Park / Albert Park from 10.30am on Sunday 12th April for around 30 minutes with my flask of hot chocolate and some licorice / liquorice, for anyone wishing to join me to chat about all things Geocaching (and maybe also hot drink choices and liquorice). Please note there is no requirement to bring a flask, or licorice, with you to attend this event.
"National Licorice Day on April 12th each year celebrates licorice in all its forms. It also recognizes its history, health benefits, and distinction around the world. You won't be limited when it comes to licorice, either. There are plenty of licorice candies, licorice ropes, jelly beans, jewels, and many others to enjoy!" (taken from the National Day Calendar website).
There is a limited amount of free on-street parking adjacent to the small park. If you are using public transport, a number of buses from Halifax stop close by, as do the X1 and 501 from Huddersfield. It is a 10-15 minute walk from Halifax railway station.
Trackables - as its an outdoor event, I'll be travelling light and won't have my TB box with me or be able to take any large trackables away. Please feel free to swap them amongst yourselves.
