Maker Magic events have been created to share knowledge, and inspire others to create wonderful new geocaches.
Have you ever stood out in the woods and thought: "This can't possibly be a cache..." …and then it was a cache? 😅 At this event we will dive into the wonderful, creative and sometimes a little absurd world of geocache containers! I bring a diverse selection of containers in different sizes and designs – from the almost invisible nanos that make you doubt both your vision and coordinates, to larger boxes that actually provide space for more than a log book. What can you expect? 🔎 Containers you love 🤨 Containers you hate 😈 Containers that have tricked you before 💡 Containers that make you want to make something even better yourself We are talking about: - Micro, small, regular and maybe something that makes the T5 people smile - Smart (and not so smart) camouflage solutions - Homemade masterpieces - Things you shouldn't put in a plastic box in the Scottish climate - How to create something that gives an “Oh, so cool!” experience instead of a “Seriously?” There will be viewings, discussions, exchange of ideas and hopefully some inspiration to create caches that people actually look forward to finding. Whether you're a new geocacher or a seasoned cache wizard: Come and be inspired – and maybe a little challenged 😄
Come along to Cafe 19 Longside between 10.00 -11.00ish to tell your caching stories of those caches you love, those you don't like, those that have tricked you and those which have inspired you, also swop hints, tips, ideas and trackables over a cuppa in good caching company. All welcome, young and old, new and seasoned cachers, locals and those just passing through.
