Cache In Trash Out® (CITO) is an environmental initiative supported by the geocaching community. Since 2002, CITO has helped preserve the natural beauty of cache-friendly spaces. In that time, more than 730,000 people have volunteered at 41,000 CITO events.
This event is part of CITO Across the World, trying to have a number of events on the same day. What could happen if geocachers around the world came together on one day to make their communities cleaner?
At CITO events, geocachers and community groups work together to improve parks and other outdoor environments. They clean up litter, plant trees, remove invasive species, build trails, and more.
By attending the event you should also be entitled to a souvenir.

Sturdy shoes and sensible clothing. If you have them bring your gloves but there will be bags and some gloves provided.
