Lest We Forget
How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
Part of Coloradoan history that is not covered in the history books. And stands as proof that "he who cannot remember history will relive it."
This spot is along a busy highway and is certainly overlooked by thousands everyday. But it shouldn’t be. Please stop and visit. There is parking at the site. You must answer 3 questions:
1. Advise me of the location of the actual event described at these co-ordinates.?
2. What is the significance of the cache title?
(and now the tough one, ask your internet savvy kids for help if needed)
3. Give me the name of the similar event occuring in Colorado less than a quarter century earlier, which if not forgotten, is dim in the mists of time as far the high school history books are concerned.
Do not post your answers in your log, even if encrypted. Please send them to me by e-mail BEFORE LOGGING FIND.
