Start at the La Luz trail head off Tramway Rd. ( not the one at the tram it's self). From the parking lot it's a short hike, but not the easiest as it requires going off the trail to find the cache. From the cache location you have a clear view of the West Mesa, Mt. Taylor, and for ref. the trail head. Of course this is New Mexico so clear views are a way of life. It's a bit steep in front of the trees, but easier behind them.
The cache is a plastic box about 10X10 inches and about 4 high. In side is an American Flag, "emergency poncho" ( going to get a lot of use of that in the desert, whistle, Tony Hillerman Book, a CD game and a log book.
This is my first time with this so any advice would be very welcome
