There is space for a few cars at N 51 00.010 W 01 44.212. Please remember that this is an access for farm vehicles, and don't block the entrance. The land you will cross on the way to the cache has recently become arable farmland again after having been set-aside land for twelve years. Please follow the rights of way - where they aren't waymarked the tractor tracks show the route. Straight on from the gate, then left at the 'T junction' at N 50 59.981 W 01 44.009, then the rest should be obvious.
From the suggested parking place, the cache is a little over half a mile. There is a moderate climb for part of the way. The route should be suitable for buggies, etc., but at some times of year parts of it may be soft mud and heavily rutted by farm vehicles. At the time of placing the cache, there were no gates or stiles on the route, but the broken (and open) gate by the parking place may be replaced at some point. When the fields are being ploughed the paths could temporarily disappear (a right of way across a field can be ploughed over providing it is restored within a certain time). The area is very open, with no shelter from wind or rain.
Whilst the area was set-aside land it was very popular with dog walkers, and may still be, so there could well be people around despite the remote feel of the place.
The cache is a small container. Please ensure that you rehide it well.
