Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Wide trails, graded with rock, take you on an easy two mile hike beside a running creek.
You
will enjoy this location. Plan to bring a snack or lunch along with your
hiking shoes. You will want to spend at least 1 - 2 hours exploring
this location. This location is excellent for hiking all year but if you
wish to see flowers, you'll want to visit during the spring and early
summer months. This is a nice place for kids too but you may need to watch
for poison oak at certain times of the year. The trails are wide enough
to stay out of the brush.
Note:
On March 30, 2003, Bonnie Hess (the lady in the wheel chair) died at the
age of 80. She had been suffering from a very long illness. This was her
first and last geocache. This was also a day that she enjoyed being a
part of the "hunt" and of "planting the treasure".
We planted this cache and found three others on this day. Bonnie stayed
in the vehicle for the "finds" but we brought each one to her
and she enjoyed exploring the contents and placing some of her "treasures"
into the box. In a sense, this is Bonnie's "memorial cache".

are "spoilers" for this cache. You can also click
here to view Bonnie's obituary.
