dodgydaved: I have, reluctantly, decided to archive this cache.
There is now a physical cache nearbye to encourage visitors to El Toro.
I have done this because of the increasing number of "armchair" cachers who have tried to log the cache.
The owner of a virtual cache has a responsibility to check logs:
"The owner will assume the responsibility of quality control of logged "finds" for the cache, and will agree to delete any "find" logs that appear to be bogus, counterfeit, off topic, or not within the stated requirements."
I am getting tired of denying finds to cachers of a certain nationality who admit they have not been to the cache site.
Many of them claim they are unwell and the only way to cache is to do virts in this way.
The last straw was when yet another very ill armchair cacher complained that I had not stated on the cache page that a visit to the location was mandatory.
In answer to all that have queried the cache name, on the eve of our 2003 visit to Menorca we entertained Alex and Kim of Team Slytherin on the occasion of their 100th cache find at our home cache. I told them I would try to set a cache for them in celebration (back in 2003 100 was a rare event for a UK cacher).
Many Thanks to all who have found the cache - and sarcastic thanks to those who have forced me into archivation.
Dave
