A nice family outing, this cache is hidden near the Mineral Springs Waterfall.
Parking for this cache is tricky; one may choose to park where the signs say not to (as many, many cars already do) and take the chance, or one may choose to park on the southern end of where Old Mineral Springs Road and Mineral Springs Road meet, thus adding an additional .74 miles to the hike. I know where I park, and I also know that no trouble has come, yet.
Follow the aqua diamond/white rectangle trail to the waterfall. As this cache is frequently visited in the summer months by locals, I have placed the cache off the path so that it will remain hidden and not vandalized.
The walk is an easy .36 mile; the trail is actually a road that leads to the base of the waterfall. You'll have to bushwack a bit to find the cache -- a nicely stocked ammo can.
Once you've found this one, go for the Jupite's Boulder cache; this one is a tad bit more difficult.
