Artemis: Greetings

I have been looking at caches in the area that have been temporarily disabled for a while now and it looks like your cache has been under the weather for some time. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time I don’t think we can do so any longer. Therefore, I have archived this cache. If you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

Geocache Description:


The cache, with the owners permission, can be reached from the outside of a private home. The owner is an active geocache hunter.

I'm not just venting hot air when I say I guarantee this micro cache to be dry. However to be fair I must tell you that it can't be seen from the outside. You can feel it with your fingers but to get it you need to figure out the hint I give you. You'll need your own pencil or pen to sign the log book.

Incidentally, I have notified the police and neighbors that there may be people around the house from time to time and that they should not get excited when they see people walking around with a little device in their hands.

Since this is a private residence, some have expressed hesitancy to go on the property. OK, let me tell you that the cache is not in the back or front yards so you don't have to go "snooping" and feel like an intruder.

It's been fun meeting some of you who knock on the door and say hello.
