Geocache Description:

Nat Greene Trail Cache

This is an easy cache ... easy walk through a beautiful section of the Greensboro Park system. Tree cover is heavy ... EPE on this cache was 22 feet.

PARKING FOR SHORT HIKE CAN BE FOUND AT N 36 08.545, W 079 51.356 ... but if you have the time ... park at the upper end and enjoy the whole trail.

This low area is teaming with wildlife and birds of all shapes and sizes. The cache is near the trail but hidden by blowdown material.

PLEASE USE CAUTION NOT TO BE SEEN WHEN APPROACHING THE CACHE.

The cache has a collection of cache collector cards for the first dozen visitors. Not to mention a little surprise! Please ... be sure to pick up any refuse you might find ... as with most city parks ... "thar be goats in them thar woods" ... and apparently it's up to the rest of us to pick up after them. Three bottles and a french fry container were my prize when placing the cache.
