linearB: Sadly, it appears that this cache has gone, but I am most surprised it lasted so long.
Many thanks to all those who visited over the last 8 years.
So long!

Geocache Description:

Summer-Hill Glen - Just off the Promenade

Having spent many happy holidays on the island as a child I decided to return. Some things have changed but much is as I remembered - the grand sweep of the Promenade, the Electric Railway, the lights, and of course the rain (and sunshine too)

I have particular fondness for Summer-hill Glen. OK, so its just a few illuminations strung round a non-descript patch of Woodland. But it retains a certain magical quality (anyone remember the Singing Ringing Tree)

You may find the reception rather poor due to tree cover.
The cache is in a rather parlous position, so best hurry along!
