Spend a few hours, bring a picnic and the family, toss some horseshoes, play with the family, have some fun.
The cache is located in Flood park, which is in Menlo Park close to 101. It has many volleyball courts, horseshoes, basketball, tennis, baseball/softball, bocchi ball or pentaque, and a very nice playground.
The park is open from 8am to sunset. Vehicle fee is $5 per car, free for senior or disabled. Dogs don't seem to be allowed.
The cache is a few hundred feet from main parking lot. Alternative closer parking is located in nearby streets at N 37° 28.531 W° 122 10.125. However, the parking restrictions on those streets are: no parking Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and holidays from 8am to 8pm, April 1 to October 31. But, it is closer to the cache, a short walk of maybe 2 minutes, and you don't have to pay to get into the parking lot. Risk it? Fine is $25. If you park a couple of streets further away, there are no parking restrictions.
