Geocache Description:

Geocachers find bones and your favorite characters from CSI are called in to investigate...

Note: While this may be treated as a standalone cache, it is also part of the Jose Gaspar "Get A Clue" game. You do not need to play the "Get A Clue" game to search for this cache.

This cache will be archived sometime after August 3, 2003. Get it while you can!

A pair of geocachers were searching for a geocache in a remote, rural area of Tampa when they made a grisly discovery.

While poking through some underbrush, they saw what appeared to be a large bone.  Recent heavy rains had washed away a lot of topsoil in the area and part of the bone was exposed.  Looking closer, they saw another bone nearby that looked like part of a rib.

Deciding not to disturb the area any further, they called the police department from their cell phone.

The police were overwhelmed with other cases at the time and could immediately send anyone to investigate.  Fortunately the members of Las Vegas Crime Scene Investigation Unit were in Tampa attending a forensics convention.

The Tampa police asked the Las Vegas CSIs if they would help work the case.  They agreed and headed out to the crime scene.

Now you can ride along with the entire CSI crew, including Grissom, Catherine, Warrick, Nick, Sara, Brass and even Greg and Doc Robbins as they try to solve the Case of the GeoBones.

While the CSIs investigate the GeoBones crime scene, you'll be looking for clues of your own as you seek to find the CSI-Tampa cache in the area.

The CSI-Tampa cache is a large Gaspar-style cache hidden on rarely-visited public land.  The cache is stocked full of great stuff for kids and adults.
