How Geocaching Works

You can choose to do the 32km hike or the 88km hike. Or, you can simply go on a short mini stroll to get to the cache...
Cache is a camouflage rubbermaid container.
Please be discreet as the traffic can be fairly busy with weary hikers. Proceed along the trails towards Maple Lake.
If you want to do this cache in winter - be prepared to dig deep! (Okay - not that deep in the winter of 2009/2010).
It would be great if you post a nice picture of animals/landscape or whatever you enjoyed in Algonquin Park together with the log.
In 2008 the cache was adopted by PitSauerland.
Search left of the trail (coming from the parking lot). Stump.
Close to the cache location (3m) there is a blue ribbon at a pine tree. This should help you to find your directions and avoid damage to the nature.
