Geocache Description:

The cache is a 30 cal ammo can, it is hidden close to the trail so bushwacking is not neccessary. This part of the ridge seems to get little use so enjoy the peace and quiet while taking in the beautiful views.

This cache brings you to Scenic Hudson's Fishkill Ridge to explore Lamb's Hill. Scenic Hudson and environmental groups such as the Fishkill Ridge Caretakers have been fighting an ongoing battle to protect the Ridge from mining. Become one of the informed and appreciative and read about some of the battles to protect Fishkill Ridge

There are a few approaches to this cache. All of them involve considerable elevation gain. I recommend checking out the trail map and reading a bit about the trails, or get a more detailed description here to plan your route of attack.
