Geocaching HQ: This cache has now been archived as requested by IDNR. You have 30 days to seek a permit from IDNR and have your cache approved again by your local reviewer. You can find the new policy, the form to apply for a permit, and the step-by-step instructions on what to do to have your cache unarchived at .

Please be sure to read through the new policy so that we can help to publish your cache again as soon as possible. Your local reviewers and Groundspeak are available to answer any questions. You will find at the bottom of this log the email addresses of the Indiana Reviewers as well as a contact at Groundspeak who are happy to help.

Please know that the Indiana reviewers have done everything in their power to keep as many caches as possible on IDNR lands and to make this transition as smooth as possible. They have worked long and hard with the IDNR to come up with a new policy that will work for most cache owners. We are very sorry for any inconvenience the implementation of this permit process may cause.

Geocache Description:

Park at N39.15.097. W086.18.174. 910 - We found a trail leading in from the parking that took us most of the way to one of the trees with the rock in it. After finding the two rocks, you have to bushwack over to the cache but it isn't that hard. We marked the trail so that we could pick it back up on our way out.

There are two sycamore trees in this area with LARGE rocks very high up in them. (My guess is that the rocks are maybe 1ft x 1ft x 3 foot but then I didn't climb the trees to measure them either.) We placed a cache here just to get you to go look at the rocks. Both trees are on the opposite side of the creek from the cache. Their locations are N39.14.986 W086.18.492 and N39.14.993 W086.18.550. One is about 300 feet from the cache. The cache is a 1/2 gal. thermos with the usual logbook and "stuff". In your log, include your theory on how the stones got up there. We enjoyed finding the trees - hope you do, too.
