Geocache Description:

Located in Myrtle Beach State Park off Hwy. 17 in Myrtle Beach, SC. There is a $4 fee per person unless you have a state park pass.

WEAR BUG SPRAY and if possible WEAR LONG PANTS and SHOES THAT COVER YOUR FEET (no sandals). Gloves are a good idea too. It's a nice trail, but it gets muddy in spots and there are lots of bugs. Look out for snakes and poison ivy. If you get a picture of a snake or other wildlife, please post it with your log... we would love to see it.There is a significant amount of walking and searching involved, so give yourself at least an hour to complete this one. You can take a dip in the Atlantic Ocean afterwards, weather permitting. There are other caches in this park on different parts of the trail. By the way, the trail can be tricky because it branches off in different directions. The coordinates are for the first leg of the multi-cache. It is down the Sculptured Oak Trail (you will see the sign on the right, parking is on the left). #1- The first leg consists of a small black container, about the size of a film canister. The coordinates for the final location are inside. It is in a hollowed out area in the bottom of a sawed-off stump beside the trail. It's covered by pieces of bark and some leaves- use a stick to poke around for it so you won't be surprised by a snake. Please close it securely and hide it back well. #2- This is the final spot. It is a goldfish crackers bucket that has never been used, so it shouldn't attract critters. Please don't put in candy, snacks, or anything heavily scented or the raccoons and foxes will try to investigate. We covered it with fern leaves, sticks, and moss. Additional clues for the final location are encrypted below. Good luck :)
