P: Esta Multi-Cache é uma especie de
Rally-Paper entre a "Praia das Maçãs" e "Azenhas do Mar",
constituída por 3 micros ( caixas de rolos fotográficos ) e 1 final
regular ( marmita ), onde eu darei as coordenadas para a primeira
micro e depois terá seguir as pistas que indico nessa micro para
que possa decifrar o resto das coordenadas que lá constam.nessa
mesma micro e assim sussecivamente até à final.
Ou seja, eu indico a primeira
coordenada ao encontrar a micro vai ter uma coordenada incompleta
para a 2ª micro ( Ex: N A8º 1B.2A4 W 9º AB.65A
), depois terá
umas perguntas com a indicação do caminho ou local, em que tem que
procurar a resposta para que possa decifrar a coordenada ( Ex: Vire
à direita e retorne à entrada principal. Quantas formam
"Amorzinho"? - "R: 36" - Solução: "AB" ou uma equação a fazer
), as restantes coordenadas não estão disponíveis nesta página só
estão colocadas nas Micros, ou seja, se não descobrir a resposta
para completar a coordenada ou se for errada não poderá encontrar a
outra micro com outra coordenada, e assim sucessivamente até à
cache final.

Praia da Maças (Beach of
the Apples)
P: A praia mais famosa do litoral sintrense,
deve o seu nome às maçãs, que eram arrastadas dos pomares da várzea
de Sintra
até
junto ao mar
pelo rio que, devido a esse facto, tomou a mesma designação. É uma
praia de extenso areal, na foz da Ribeira de Colares, servida por
bons acessos e por um pitoresco eléctrico que desce todo o vale,
desde as proximidades de Sintra.

P: O célebre eléctrico da Praia das Maças
(verdadeira peça de museu com cerca de cem anos), está em
funcionamento num percurso, entre a Ribeira de Sintra passando por
Galamares, Colares e a Praia das Maçãs, isto é, estabelecendo a
ligação entre uma vila que é Património Mundial e a praia mais
conhecida de todo o Litoral Sintrense.

P: Monumento funerário que apresenta uma câmara
escavada no calcário, com pequeno átrio e duas câmaras laterais. As
câmaras laterais estão ligadas a um "tholos" com câmara, galeria e
átrio originalmente coberto por um "tumulus". As diferentes fases
de construção e utilização estendem-se do Neolítico ao
Calcolítico.

Azenhas do Mar ( Azenhas of the Sea
)
P: Antiquíssimo lugar que em 1815
tinha 22 casas; pertenceu ao extinto concelho de Colares; orago de
N. Sra. Da Assunção, jurisdição da comarca de Torres Vedras. Fez
parte das 25 povoações que constituíam o distrito daquela invocação
e era oitava em importância e número de fogos (apenas 22!).
Povoação original assente nas arribas e que desce, na mais
caprichosa das assimetrias, até ao rés da água, nas faldas de um
pequeno promontório.
Local muito frequentado por artistas, devido aos inesgotáveis temas
pitorescos.
Alguns dos seus traços são ainda observáveis em estruturas rurais,
tais como o Casal Saloio (é constituído por uma unidade principal
destinada à habitação, geralmente de dois pisos, e anexos para a
lavoura, estábulos, currais, adegas, forno e lagar), elemento mais
significativo da arquitectura popular, reflectindo uma estrutura
social, marcada fundamentalmente pela subsistência: possui sistemas
de moagem tradicional (azenhas), sistemas de captação da água,
fontes e fontanários. As azenhas tal como os moinhos foram
progressivamente desactivadas e estiveram legados ao
abandono.
Verdadeiro postal ilustrado, a aldeia das Azenhas do Mar surpreende
pela sua situação geográfica, com as casas a descerem em cascata
pelo declive da arriba até ao mar, de uma originalidade única no
mundo, lembram um capricho do mar revolto na ânsia de ouvir os
queixumes das pequeninas azenhas que outrora trabalharam ao sabor
do ribeiro que lhes trazia a energia e banhadas de uma luz
idealizadora e branca, a conjugar o belo com o terrível.
A Sul podemos desfrutar das duas colinas que a constituem a não
menos formosa Serra de Sintra que se estende até ao mar.

Ramisco onde se podem conjugar os três mais nobres amigos "O Sol, a
Areia e o Mar", a magnífica Esplanada de onde se vislumbra em todo
o seu esplendor o Oceano Atlântico, a Ribeira do Cameijo que desce
em cascata na sua foz, a Escola Oficial, e um sem número de outras
que poderá por si mesmo descobrir.
Pode tomar o seu banho nas Piscinas Naturais. Para almoçar,
petiscar ou jantar desfrutando da magnífica vista de Mar e Serra de
Sintra no Pôr-do-sol (no alto das Arribas).

P: A Festa de S. Lourenço de 8 a 10 de Agosto
data desde o século XVI. Como em qualquer festa regional
todos os habitantes procuram de uma ou
de outra maneira ajudar a comemorar o santo padroeiro da terra "S.
Lourenço". Culminam no último dia com a procissão que sai da capela
com o mesmo nome e vai até á Praia das Maçãs, a bênção dos barcos
de pesca e o fogo de artifício.

P:
Comecemos então a nossa caçada em Sintra no Waypoint N 38º
48.247 W 9º 22.915 onde à 10 anos atràs o Eléctrico
ainda funcionava a sua caminhada em direcção à Praia das Maçãs, e
por isso comecemos também por aqui para admirarmos essa mesma
paisagem para que seja ainda mais acentuado o nosso entusiasmo e
gosto por esta cache e aproveitar este passeio.
Já chegaram ao nosso ponto de partida? Então olhem
para a vossa esquerda e deparam onde à 10 anos atrás o Eléctrico
iniciava a sua viagem, continuando em direcção a Colares, passando
umas curvas contra curvas do lado esquerdo podemos ouvir os gritos
dos adeptos a puxar pela sua equipa, continuando o nosso passeio
por mais curvas e contra curvas sem sair do mesmo sentido onde
podemos ver a reconstrução da linha do Eléctrico, até que deparamos
com uma curva à direita muito acentuada onde vimos um cruzamento,
para a esquerda podemos ir ver a serra ao pormenor atravessando a
linha do Eléctrico e para direita podemos ir comer à Varzea, mas o
nosso passeio continua em frente, até que deparamos com uma recta,
não acelere muito porque não vale a pena e não é hora de tomar
banho ao fim da mesma, onde temos de ter cuidado para não
atropelarmos o nosso amigo Eléctrico, logo a seguir à nossa
esquerda podemos ir dar umas tacadinhas numa linda relva verde à
direita passa o nosso amigo por detrás das àrvores, mais à frente
dizemos um olá a Galamares e dizemos um até breve ao nosso amigo.
Continuando por mais curvas e contra curvas vimos o nosso amigo
novamente numa pequena recta mas por pouco tempo, porque em breve
dizemos olá a Colares, agora não parem para matar a sede
terão tempo de o fazer, agora sim uma encruzilhada, mas acho que o
vosso aparelho vos indica o mesmo que o meu "direita", entretanto à
sua esquerda poderá enviar uma lembrança aos seus amigos, uns
metros à frente à direita temos os "soldados da paz" e logo a
seguir se o seu depósito estiver vazio poderá enche-lo, cuidado com
a curva e com a velocidade pois aproximam-se o ninho dos nossos
amigos "verdinhos" à nossa esquerda e logo a seguir pode por a
leitura em dia, mas cautela que o nosso destino fica para a direita
e depois mais à frente temos que reencontrar novamente o nosso
amigo, não pare para matar a cede pois deve ir a conduzir, à
esquerda vimos a mãe do nosso amigo, continuando em frente a nossa
caminhada quase chegada ao nosso destino, aqui voltamos a trocar
novamente posições com o nosso amigo, mais à frente do seu lado
esquerdo pode ver um local onde poderá vir descansar no final,
seguindo em diante sem desviar para ir ao encontro do " The Eye of
T. Rex ", passará pelo local também apreciado para restabelecer
energias ao sabor do mar, a seguir à direita podemos ir fazer as
compras para o Picnic.
Agora sim faltam poucos metros para a nossa primeira cache,
aproveite para descansar e deliciar o fim da linha do nosso amigo e
o começo da nossa.
Já descansou? Agora sim parta à aventura com rodas ou
não, se preferir apreciar de perto estas belas localidades "Praia
das Maçãs" (o inicio) e "Azenhas do Mar" (o fim), é um percurso com
cerca de 2 Km, agora siga ao seu gosto e prazer.

curves and more curves we saw again our friend in small straight
way but for little time, because soon we say "Hello Colares", now
they do not stop to kill the thirsty they will have time to make
it, now yes a crossroad, but I think that your device indicates you
the same that mine "right", however to its left you'll be able to
send a souvenir to your friends, some meters away to the right has
