Geocache Description:

When:July 20, 2003 Time:Noon until ? What:3rd of the monthly Mad City Cachers gatherings. All are welcome to attend! What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than with family, friends, and geocaching...can it get any better than that?

We are looking forward to getting together with Mad City geocaching friends and encourage others to attend!!!! We planned this event on a weekend to encourage others from surrounding areas to join us as well. This is not limited to MadCity Cachers...anyone willing to drive to CROSS PLAINS AREA is welcome to attend.(NOTE: THIS LOCATION WAS CHANGED FROM DEFOREST) Come out for a lot of fun. After a very easy multi cache to find us, we will be having a Sunday lunch time cookout. Similar to last time we ask that you bring your own meat to grill, beverages, and a dish to pass. We will have a grill, condiments, paper plates and utensils. The above coordinates will take you to an easy micro cache (please do not try to hunt it until the day of the cache as we will not be physically placing it until the evening before the cache event-we don't want it to walk off on us...trust us, it is easy...and we have included our cell phone number and quite a good clue if you should find you are having difficulty with this one.) These coordinates that you will find in the micro will take you to a park that is nearby...that is where we will be. This a nice area for kids to play with swings etc., a shelter in case of poor weather conditions, plenty of room if anyone wanted to bring frisbees-Bocce ball-etc., and of course there will be several caches hidden in the area which can easily be walked to. Leashed dogs are welcome. Bring your travel bugs if you have them! We love to trade them! Looking forward to seeing one and all!!! *** Come join the fun at Wisconsin Geocaching Association HERE ***
