The cache is located at the Forthill of Sulkava Pisamalahti. It is about 500 meters from a parking lot. The hill is very steep and may be dangerous in winter.So on winter time terrain raiting could be ****! Kätkö on Sulkavan Pisamalahden Linnavuorella. Matkaa parkkipaikalta linnavuorelle on n. 500m. Linnavuori on hyvin jyrkkä ja erityisesti talvella jopa vaarallinen. Joten talven maastoarvio voisi olla jopa ****!
Pisamalahden linnavuori on eräs Suomen arvokkaimmista muinaislinnoista. Linnavuoren laelta löytyvät 1100-luvulta peräisin olevan linnavuoren vallin jäännökset. Linnavuori kohoaa n. 55 m:n korkeuteen Enonveden pinnasta Kesäisin heinäkuun toisena viikonloppuna vuoren laelta näkee kuinka maailman suurimman soutukilpailun veneet lähtevät Hakovirralta ja aloittavat 65km pitkän soututaipaleen Partalansaaren ympäri. Vuonna 2003 kilpailuun osallistui 10 224 soutajaa. Alunperin kätkö pitää sisällään: - ongen - hyrrän - Aarikan vetskariukon - koristesienen ja luonnollisesti lokikirjan, lyijykynän, kynänterottimen ja normaalin geokätköviestin. Huomautus talveksi: Kätkö on saavutettavissa. Tie parkkipaikalle aurataan. Hiihdä tai lumikävele ensimmäiset 300m ja sitten varovasti portaita ylös ja kahlaa viimeiset 200m lumessa. Vuoren reunamilla ole erityisen varovainen! --------------------------------------------------- Forthill of Pisamalahti is one of the most valuable ancient castles in Finland. Remains of the bank are found on the law of forthill. They are from the 1100's. Forthill will raise about 55 m height from the surface of Enonvesi. From the top of the mountain during the second weekend of July, you can see how the boats of the biggest rowing-race in the world leave from Hakovirta and begin a 65 km long rowing-race around Partalansaari. In 2003 10 224 rowers participated in this competition. Initially this cache contains: - hook and line - spinning wheel - zipper guy by Aarikka - decorative mushroom and naturally logbook, pen, pen sharpener and the usual geocaching note Note for winter: cache is reachable. Road to parking place is maintained. Use skis or snowshoes for the first 300m and then climb up the staris and crawl the last 200m in snow. Be extremely careful on the hill sides!
