Geocache Description:

Area of Rollinsford, NH called Scoutland

This cache is located in the area of Rollinsford, NH called Scoutland. Scoutland is the area bounded on East side by the Salmon Falls River and on the South side by the B&M railroad tracks that run between Boston and Portland. Scoutland got its name from boy scouts who camped in the wooded area.

You can enter Scoutland from serveral places, one being from the location where the train trestle crosses the Salmon Falls River. There is also a boat launch in this area where you can motor or paddle up the river to get closer to the cache.

The cache is located about 30 feet off a trail.

Take a picture of yourself/group and upload it when you get back to log the visit online. It will be fun to see who actually visited it.

The log book in a sealable plastic bag is marked "Scoutland". I have to remark the sticker on the outside as the writing was washed away.

While you're there, enjoy a walk in the woods.

The container is an ammo box.
