This Cache has already had a very colorful history as it was initially placed in June in an area that was eventually taken over by the Aspen Forest fire. I was able to retrieve the cache which was now buried under lots of debris, with little damage to the cache itself.
Originally this cache was one where you were to find the coordinates by using the manufactures ID (UPC) code to determine the correct location. Hence the cache’s Name. I will place another cache in the future that uses my UPC puzzle.
As This cache has survived the wild, it is now placed in a public space in town where it will be easily accessible to all year round. This cache is loaded with goodies and is camouflaged to blend in. When retrieving the cache be sure to make sure it is hidden well. Also, be sure follow the trail to a point where the cache is roughly due east. Then follow the wash to the cache. This will minimize potential damage to the landscape.
You can park at the town site gate and take a longer walk in, or find a closer entrance to this area. When parking close, be sure not to arouse the suspicion of the urban dwellers nearby.
