This cache has been archived.

=^..^=: This cache has been around for 15 years, the location has been around for a lot longer and that really is what I wanted people to find.

When I started placing geocaches there were only a couple of the Island - and generally they were in walls or similar in Douglas.

I spread caches out across the island - for instance the injerbreck triangle caches present incredible vistas of the island - and generally I doubt anyone would go there unless I'd put a cache there.

But I can't commit to a maintenance schedule that wasn't there 15 years ago when I placed the cache.

So I'm shutting all the caches down.

I'm going to archive them and let Geocaching shut them down permanently.

Geocache Description:

Another manx forest to visit ! Tree cover makes GPS reception tricky.

This is one of my favourite plantations. Basically its where I learnt to ride a mountain bike. Plenty of lovely little trails (and I found a new one tonight :)). Lots of steeps, lots of tricky off camber sections, lots of roots !

I picked a nice easy trail to the cache - but its a one way trail so most walkers etc don't go there. Stick to the main paths and you'll find its location easily enough. How ever finding the cache may prove tricky with low signal levels ! So I've left you a clue to decrypt

***************** Update 09/02/2005 ***************

After a couple of months break the cache is available again. Cache is now a cycling drinks bottle so anything you take to leave in the cache needs to be able to fit through the neck of the bottle.

The old cache book never dried out so a new one is there and the only finds left are the ones that were not perishable. One appeared to be some bath foam (:o) and a the other is a circuit tester.
