Geocache Description:

Visit the rock held sacred by the Algoquin Indians, overlooking the mighty river.

It was atop this place of power that Fakawi, the Algonkian seer, made is prophesy after days of fasting and meditation. He foretold the coming of a white winged black dragon which would carry bearded devils, who would eventually destroy the people and lay waste to the land. In less than a moon it came to pass that Henry Hudson landed with his ship, the Halfmoon, in the creek below. Look down and see how much of the rest of Fakawi's prophesy also came true.

Only the deepest snows will cover the offering, and the suns warm rays will soon lay it open for discovery.
