Hanging by a thread........ Multi-cache

This cache has been archived.

Candy Apple Green: This one was a victim of the government trying to overprotect us from ourselves.

Apparently this one was too much fun for park authorities to allow, so they grabbed it. As with most everything that is fun, it is also likely to be taboo.

I will come up with a similar cache eventually, or one that would be even more thrilling!

Skydiving anybody? [:O)]

All the while,.... "Hanging by a thread...."

This cache is specifically designed for those of you who enjoy a little more personal challenge in your hunt, and want to see if you ultimately have what it takes.

This multi will take you from 835' at the first leg of the cache to a final 695' at the cache itself. An incredible 140' descent to a gorgeous location!

You will begin the multi by locating the 10 gallon cammo bin (835')that contains the 40'rope ladder. Inside you will find instructions and my rules of operational safety. If you choose to hanglide, skydive or submarine your way to the cache that's fine, but be sure to use the ladder and the rope, or else you get doodoo. (Moronspeak=Disqualified)

From there, you will locate the tie-off point (762')and descend down 40' to the next walkable area. It is an easy 20 yard walk down a 30 degree angle to the 25' rope that will allow you to descend the wall to the final cache,a 1/2 gallon cammo container.(695')

The 25'rope was purposely left in this location so it would be safer to determine the drop point and angle. Please leave it there when you have completed your expedition.

I have taken alot time in building the primary ladder and secondary rope to ensure your safety. Arizona Gyrl and myself have personally tested these to our satisfaction.
It would be best to bring a second cacher along for the ease of the drop, and the fact that there is safety in numbers. E-mail me if you cannot find a partner and I will happily join you.(you buy lunch)

That said, you WILL want a camera to get shots of yourself on the ladder or final descent. Perhaps a pic-nic once you have reached your destination, as it is very quiet and an absolutely beautiful view!

Enjoy! "The Clown"
