Geocache Description:

This cache is located in one of the nice trail systems of Grants Pass. The cache is well hidden in a black ammo can with lots of cool goodies and a framed first finder certificate.

I won this cache box at the monthly pizza meeting. Being that the theme is “Men in Black” I thought that it might also be fun to make it a “Cacher in the Black” cache. How is that you say? Well, you must visit this cache in the dark (or at least dusk) to find it. You will need a sense of adventure, a good flash-light, keen eyes, and a little bit of luck to find it. The coordinates will place you where you need to park. Cast your beam down the dirt track past that which blocks your way to illuminate your first marker. This is where your journey into the black begins. Good luck.

There are only four basic rules to cache by when hunting this. REMEMBER THEM ALL:

1. The Markers will not change. What the first one is, so shall the rest be.

2. The next marker is never “exactly” the way you just walked from the last marker.

3. You will never ever use the same marker twice. Always remember where you have been.

4. The next marker is visible from somewhere within fifteen-ish feet from the one you are at. Sometimes you need to move around a bit. Sometimes not.

I would like to thank my Uncle BDC and my dad, The Mailleman, for helping me set this cache up. I have also seeded it with its first travel bug.
