The last person to be beheaded was Antti Antinpoika Hannula, who lived in Marttila. He killed his father. The first part of the cache is in the place, where this beheading happend. You can read story based to court documents from over here.
2. Marttilan taistelun muistomerkki / Memorial of Marttila Battle (N60.35.769, E022.55.173)
Kätkön toinen osa vie sinut Nuijasodan muistomerkille. Marttilan kannalta merkittävin taistelu käytiin pitäjän alueella Nuijasodan jälkimainingeissa vuonna 1599. Kaarle-Herttuan voittoon päättyneestä taistelusta muistuttaa nupulakivistä muurattu muistomerkki, joka sijaitsee Härkätien varressa n. 2 km kirkolta Koskelle päin.
The second part of the cache is in The Memorial of The Cudgel War. The significant battle for Marttila was in the year of 1599. The Memorial was made for victory of Carl Duke. Memorial is located along The Ox Road about two kilometers from Church of Marttila to Koski.
