Geocache Description:

OBS!! Flytta inga stenar !! Du kan finna lådan ändå !!

The den was built 1864 by Arby parish poor relief committee as habitation for former boatswain Anders Petterson Bramstag born 1814. The den which had the inner measures of 1,75 x 2,75 m was built at a cost of 2,50 SEK. The fittings were only a bed, a stool and a flat stone as fireplace. Anders Bramstag lived 25 years in the den until his death 1889. The den was then pulled down to prevent tramps to stay and cost the poor relief committee money.

The story tells that Anders Bramstag was a rowdy and people were afraid of him. Sometime he used his gun and shot after people passing by. When he was married to a much older woman he is described as a devil to his wife. When he became widower he moved to the den. He was a clever stone wall builder and many stone walls made by his hand can still be found in the neighborhood.

The cache is a 0,4 l plastic box with blue lid containing logbook, pencil and some trading items. NOTE !! Do not move any stones !! You will find the cache anyway!!
