Geocache Description:

Kolboda yards were built in the 1700s. Hulls of the first steamboats were built here.
In 1841 they hired Herman Olsén. He took over the shipyard operations in 1845. With Olsén came the shipyard's greatness. He built the Italian-inspired manor in 1867 after his own drawings.
Olsén died in 1895 and the yard was closed down some years thereafter.
