Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Boyson Park In Marion Iowa. The terrain is flat.

The precise location of the cache must be found by determining the location of the intersection of 2 line segments. The location of two end points are given. You have to find the other end points from a description of their locations. The coordinates at the top of the page are near the location of one of the end points. There is nothing to find or see at the above coordinates. Do not go there. Line A: The first line segment extends between two points called Landmark1 and Arbitrary2. Landmark1 is the lion on the downstream side of the west end of the 16 Ave. bridge in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The coordinates at the top of the page are in the general area of the other end of the line segment. The exact location of the other end of the line segment, point Arbitrary2, is N42 06.000 W91 35.650. There is nothing to find or see at the location Arbitrary2. Do not go there. Line B: The other line segment extends between points called Landmark3 and Arbitrary4. Landmark3 is in Squaw Creek park at the north east corner of the Red Cedar Lodge parking lot at the intersection of the lines formed by the wood barriers. Point Arbitrary4 is N42 06.956 W91 45.555. There is nothing to find or see at the location Arbitrary4. Do not go there. Get out your high school algebra book or find another way to solve for the intersection of two lines. After you find the cache, please briefly describe your method of solving the problem here on the web site. Encrypt it so new finders can have a chance to solve the problem on their own. There is very little room in this cache so I would prefer that no items be stored or traded in this cache. The cache is a 3.5" dia x 3" tall container with a screw lid. Don't put the lid on too tight, it will become very hard to open.
