Geocache Description:

A Nevada CITO (Cache In, Trash Out) event, in participation with KTMB, "Reno Clean & Green", and the Reno Ward 2/Central Neighborhood Advisory Board (NAB).

Time is from 9 a.m. to Noon, on Saturday, April 24, 2004. You don't have to stay the whole time to get credit for this event, but you do have to fill at least one large litter bag up (with litter) and dump it to do so.

UPDATE: Starbucks is providing hot, fresh FREE COFFEE at 9 a.m., Krispy Kreme donuts is providing hot, fresh FREE DONUTS at 9 a.m., and Port-o'-Subs is providing crisp, fresh FREE SUBS at 11:30 a.m. There will also be bottled water, chips, and cookies available. The City is also providing trash bags and gloves for everyone in case the trash is 'yucky' or rusty.

The City of Reno is providing FREE tee-shirts for attendees. You'll need to RSVP with the City of Reno (via their website) in order to reserve your T-shirt. They will ask for your shirt size and for you to accept their 'hold harmless' agreement.

There is another cache nearby, Laura Bakes' "Foul Ball", for those that haven't yet logged it. Come out and log two caches and help our planet!

UPDATE: This event will also feature a small "scavenger hunt" activity with small PRIZES. On the day of the event, I'll be handing out printed maps with "X"s marking the spots of some additional "prizes" hidden amongst the trash. Also, this is a "rain or shine" event - we'll be there caching regardless of the weather, so please dress appropriately.
