Geocache Description:

When driving along I-5 in Northern California, you pass miles of flooded fields. These are rice fields. They are flooded with water from the Sacramento River and seeded from airplanes. These fields become the temporary homes for millions of migratory water birds. Over one third of the rice goes down to the brewery in Fairfield (and you throught beer was only barley and hops).

This cache is located near one of the water canals that cross the valley. I thought that I could make this a two-fer with a nearby Benchmark but the brass plaque turns out to be for the Glenn-Colusa Irrigation District and is not logable. Darn.

Turns out that this is a four-fer. There are three Benchmarks, KTO427, KTO425 and KTO424 nearby.

Cache has been relocated and is now a small with room for some trade items
