Candy Apple Green: MastahMatt sent this note, so it appears that the first stage is gone. This cache had a great 7 1/2 year run, and its time to open up to others. Thanks for all the fun!

MIKE

Hello!

Me and my brother went for your cache, 'Mountain Goat', and we found a tree with a deep hole at stage 1. There was a broken black thread just above the hole, but no sign of a stage 1. Is the black thread supposed to be holding the cache container? If so, it's gone.

Thanks!

Geocache Description:

Mississippi River Bluffs Walkway. St. Paul Minnesota, 55105.

This is in a beautiful area with great views of the river, and has a foot trail that runs along the edge of the bluffs. The name of this cache came to me as I was scouting the area in my slick tennis shoes on a very icy winter foot trail about 90 feet above the river.

Parking for this location is best found at St. Clair Ave. and Mississippi Blvd. Due West of this intersection is a park bench at N44 56.046 x W093 11.928. This is where you will find access to the foot trail that runs the bluffs edge! The foot trail is for "cachers" and the paved trail is for "muggles".

Although you can do this cache without utilizing ALL of the foot trail, it will be much less exciting, and is not recommended, as you will miss out on all of the great views and a really fun trail. The first leg is a micro about as big as your thumb, and contains your final coords. Do not despair, as it will be easy to locate. The second leg is a not so cammo appropriate cache, and is about 3" x 1/2". I hope you enjoy hunting, as much as I did hiding!

Shine On!
