You are looking for a rubbermaid box with blue lid, marked with an official geocaching sticker. It is stocked with registered books that have been "released in the wild". There is a special BCID # inside the books, please go to the Bookcrossing site to make a journal entry for the book(s) you take. These books are like Travel Bugs and their BCID# is used to track where they are, just like a travel bug #.
Please go to www.bookcrossing.com and register your books before trading. For those who forget, there are some pre-registered labels in the logbook bag that you can use to label your books, but they will be registered to my ID. Be sure to write down the number on the label so that you can make a journal entry at www.bookcrossing.com when you get home.
The Original Contents of the Cache are:
- Strangers by Dean Koontz
- False Memory by Dean Koontz
- One Door Away From Heaven by Dean Koontz
- The House Of Thunder by Dean Koontz
- Icebound by Dean Koontz
- The Black Echo by Michael Connelly
- The Deep End Of The Ocean by Jacquelyn Mitchard
Pre-registered Bookcrossing labels (Started with 10, if we run low, let me know and I will replenish.)
Items to Stay in Cache:
- Log sheet
- Ziploc Bags to protect books
Please make sure the Cache stays well hidden. Please list which books you took/left, so that the next cachers will know what is here. Please don't post BCID#s on the cache page. That number is to be used at the Bookcrossing site to make a journal entry for that book.
The cache is close to Pokfulam road, about 5 mins walk from Queen Mary Hospital. You can access the cache either via a small foot-path that starts near Queen Mary Hospital and goes parallel to Pokfulam Road or via an access road that goes from Pokfulam Rd to some nearby apartment buildings.
Thanks for looking at my cache page and have fun!!
***If you find an unlabeled book in the cache, please add one of the pre-numbered labels to it so that it can be tracked.***
